Mind Builders High School

As a way of encouraging hard work among students, as well as promoting academic excellence, Mind Builders High School, Lagos State, recently celebrated four of its alumni, who bagged first class degrees from different universities.

The school hailed the recipients as its ambassadors and urged present students to brace up for a return for such honours upon the completion of their tertiary education.

Those honoured by the school, during its 2017 valedictory service/graduation ceremony, which took place at the institution’s premises in Alausa, Ikeja, were Bolaji Olukayode Oluwasona, and Adefolarin Badejo, who bagged first class in Computer Technology, and Accounting respectively from Babcock University, Ogun State. Others are Opeoluwa Samuel Adewale-Fasoro, who studied Microbiology at the Redeemer’s University, and Abidemi Ojudu, who graduated with distinction in Accounting and Finance, from Durham University, United Kingdom Speaking at the ceremony, Oluwasona, who attributed his achievement to discipline and hard work, enjoined the graduating class to remain focused and set goals for themselves if they want to excel.

On his own part, Adewale-Fasoro called on students without outstanding results to redouble their efforts, saying he was once an average student whose determination to succeed catapulted him to achieve great success.

One of the graduating students, Miss Aduragbemi Adebiyi, told The Guardian that the school has imparted discipline, time management skills, respect and strong morals into her.
