About 30 hours after announcing the suspension of its #ResumeorResign campaign in Abuja on Wednesday, the ‘Concerned Nigerians’ coalition has announced that the campaign will hold a vigil at the Abuja house in London tonight.

According to the convener of the group, Deji Adeyanju, who spoke to The Guardian, the candle light procession would begin from 5:00pm till dawn in front of the Abuja House with the purpose of sending a message to President Buhari “to return home because the people did not vote him to waste tax payers money on medical treatment abroad.”

Adeyanju said that the #ResumeorResign campaign was held on Wednesday at the Nigerian House in New York and attracted 20 people for the same purpose of urging the president to return home.

“It is beginning to become clear that the president is not fit to continue in office and as such if he cannot continue after 102 days of treatment abroad, the honourable thing is for him to resign because whatever it is that has kept him away for 102 days is a serious thing.”

Adeyanju insisted that the attack at Wuse market was mobilised adding that the pro-Buhari rallies that have been going on at the Unity Fountain is being conducted with youths hired by the government.
