Suleja and its neighbouring towns in Niger State will this weekend be aglow as the flagship comedy show, Glo Laffta Fest makes as stop in the town. Sponsors of the show, Globacom had on August 5 held an edition of its second flagship show, Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour in the same town.
The telecom service provider in a press statement explained that the show will provide local talents the rare opportunity to hug the klieg light with comedy superstars including Bovi Ugboma, Godwin Komone, popularly called Gordons; Basheer Hammed, better known as Bash; Osama Akpunonu, MC Tagwaye and Princewill Ayiri.
Giving a feel of what lovers should expect at the show, Bovi said, “it will be the biggest collection of top comedians under one roof in the city of Suleja.” He also urged residents not to miss out on the fun just as other comedians scheduled for the show equally promised the residents a memorable time with their rib-cracking jokes.
The telecommunications giant further said the mega comedy event, which had held in major cities and towns like Port Harcourt, Abuja, Owerri, Warri, Yenegoa, Calabar, Uyo, Ibadan, Benin, Ijebu-Ode, Kaduna, Abeokuta, Victoria Island, FESTAC, Ikorodu and Kubwa, in Abuja is slated for 1pm at Tommy Hill Station Hotel in the heart of Suleja.
From Suleja, the show goes to the ancient Northern city of Kano next week before proceeding to Anyigba, Lokoja, Port Harcourt, Onitsha, Makurdi and Ajah, among other locations.
Fun lovers, who desire to attend the Suleja show are expected to have used up to N2,000 worth of air time (credit) in the last one month, and text LOL with the location name to the short code 240. For example, LOL Suleja to 240.
