Genesis 22:14 “And Abraham called the name of that place JEHOVAH JIREH: as it is said to this day, in the mount of the LORD it shall BE SEEN.” Psalm 105:40-41 “The people asked, and He brought quails, and satisfied them with the BREAD of Heaven; He OPENED THE ROCK, and the WATERS GUSHED OUT; THEY RAN IN THE DRY PLACES LIKE A RIVER.”
One of the irrefutable revelations of Who God is, is that the Almighty God is extremely GRACIOUS, MAGNANIMOUS and BENEVOLENT (Psalm 145:9 “The LORD is GOOD TO ALL: and His tender mercies ARE OVER ALL HIS WORKS”). The God of the Bible is JEHOVAH JIREH, the God of abundant provisions. He is the EL-Shaddai God, Who gives generously without finding fault. James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, THAT GIVETH TO ALL MEN LIBERALLY, AND UPBRAIDETH NOT; and it shall be given him.” Romans 10:12 (“For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same LORD over all IS RICH UNTO ALL THAT CALL UPON HIM”) and Matthew 5:45 (“That ye may be the children of YOUR FATHER, which is in Heaven: FOR HE MAKETH HIS SUN to rise on THE EVIL AND ON THE GOOD, and sendeth RAIN ON THE JUST AND ON THE UNJUST”) God’s Holy Word declares that God does not DISCRIMINATE in the distribution of His Natural Blessings.
God’s benevolence is amplified by a particular religion; one of its cardinal creeds is that, God is the Most Benevolent, Most Merciful and Most Magnanimous. The God of the Bible, Who is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, is a GREAT GIVER, Who makes provision available before our needs arise. God made adequate provision for man’s existence before he was created. There is no need in our lives today that catches God unawares or is an INTIMIDATION to the resources and treasury of the Almighty God. Statistically, it was stated in a report that EVERY DAY, human beings consume over three billion chickens by the seven billion global population. The Israelites in the wilderness asked if God could furnish a table in the wilderness (Psalm 78:19).
God told Moses that the people shall be fed with adequate protein in the wilderness. Moses was flabbergasted, when he told God in Numbers 11:22 (“Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them”?) And God replied Numbers 11:23 and 31 (“And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’S Hand waxed short? Thou shalt see now whether My Word shall come to pass unto thee or not; And there went forth A WIND from the LORD, and BROUGHT QUAILS from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day’s journey on this side, and as it were a day’s journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth”).
God did not only feed them with protein for one day, but He fed them for forty years. He made it very easy for them to get quails and the cost of daily protein provision was put at several billions of dollars. In the Ministry of JESUS, at a particular Gospel crusade in a desert place, over Five Thousand men beside women and children were OVERFED. John 6:12-13 “When they were filled, He said unto His disciples, gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost; Therefore, they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which REMAINED OVER AND ABOVE unto them that had eaten.”
All through Biblical history, we have detailed records of how God provided for His people particularly in the time of austerity and famine. Malachi 3:6 “For I am the LORD, I CHANGE NOT; therefore ye sons of Jacob are NOT CONSUMED.” It is when there is a casting down in the nations that we God’s people will have LIFTING UP. Job 22:29. God has promised that in the time of famine or economic depression, we His people shall BE SATISFIED. (Psalm 37:19).
Sometimes ago, we had a deadline to pay a huge amount of money to Government on a particular transaction. There was no way we could pay this huge debt from our natural resources. In the night in a state of apprehension, the Word of the LORD came through to us that “JEHOVAH JIREH, will JIREH.” That obligation was Supernaturally met without stress or borrowing. We prophesy to you today that in the Mighty Name of JESUS, “JEHOVAH JIREH, will JIREH” in your life.
In this time of economic meltdown, you will blossom and prosper in JESUS Mighty Name. You will not experience financial or economic strangulation. You will blossom and prosper in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Amen.
PRAYER: JEHOVAH JIREH will JIREH in my life in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Amen.
